KINEGRAM Technology

The KINEGRAM technology is characterized by its SUPERIOR SECURITY.
It is NOT HOLOGRAPHIC, proprietary to OVD Kinegram, and top secret even within our company.

It is the only security foil technology worldwide that is not also used for commercial applications!

The KINEGRAM uses precisely controlled diffractive structures which are engineered for specific visual effects, and optimized for their brilliance and brightness. An extensive variety of microstructures, unreachable by conventional holography, is available for use in a KINEGRAM design.

Leading currency issuers, such as the European Central Bank, place their trust in KINEGRAM foils.

  • world-leading security technology for banknotes
  • world leading experience by KURZ and OVD Kinegram
  • world’s only security foil technology which is not commercially available
