Full metallization

The origin of the KINEGRAM technology: fully metallized diffractive security foils.

During the foil production process, a thin layer of aluminum is vacuum-evaporated onto a carrier material. Before the metallization, the diffractive image is embossed into the material. The silver colored aluminum makes the diffractive image visible.

Partial metallization

Partial removal of the aluminum layer allows for intricate design elements, such as microtexts or small images, to be isolated from the main design area. This enables the creation of more interesting and unusual shapes of the KINEGRAM foil element.
