Award for New Swiss ID with KINEGRAM

The new Swiss Identity Card, secured by a sophisticated KINEGRAM^® PCI, was awarded “Best New National eID Card” at the most recent High Security Printing Conference for Europe, Middle East and Africa in Sofia, Bulgaria from March 4-6, 2024.

The popular “Regional Banknote and ID Document of the Year” awards ceremony serves to highlight special achievements in the design, technical sophistication and security of ID documents and banknotes. The new Swiss ID, issued in March 2023, received the award for “Best New National eID Card”. OVD Kinegram is proud to be a part of this success, as the card is equipped with a highly advanced transparent KINEGRAM^® PCI as a principal security feature. The KINEGRAM and the card’s print design together tell the story of a symbolic journey through the beautiful Swiss mountain landscape.
